A 17-month-old baby girl, Akshita, tragically died after falling into a container of hot milk at Ambedkar Gurukul School in Bukkarayasamudram village, Anantapur district.

The incident occurred while her mother, Krishnaveni, who works as a security guard at the school, had brought her daughter along.

According to authorities, CCTV footage shows that Akshita wandered into the school kitchen while chasing a cat.

Hot milk prepared for students was left to cool under a fan. In her attempt to follow the cat, the toddler accidentally bumped into the milk container, causing her to fall into it.
