“I can walk, I can stand… and I’m happier,” Kristy told 7NEWS.
Just six weeks ago, Kristy became the first person in Australia to receive an AI-enhanced spinal cord simulator. The device sends electric pulses to her spine, tricking pain receptors and delivering instant relief.
Pain specialist Dr Matthew Green said the AI component is a game changer.
“It gives patients access to hundreds of thousands of technical inputs almost instantly,” he told 7NEWS.
