WHAT’S SO SPECIAL ABOUT IT?

There’s a new name making ripples in the local craft brewing scene.

Ripple Brewing is a brewery and taproom opening to the public soon in Beaconsfield but beer lovers can already sample its core range of lager, pale ale and hazy IPA at bottleshops.

Ripple says its Field Day series is an opportunity to explore different hazy IPA recipes, techniques and ingredients, and it’s off to a solid start with Field Day #1.

It features a base of ale malt, malted wheat and rolled oats fermented with a house hazy yeast, hopped with Citra DynaBoost, Mosaic and Simcoe T90.

When you crack the tinnie, you will immediately notice the intense citrus and tropical fruit aromas on the nose.
