Members of the European Broadcasting Union will hold a vote in November to determine if Israel will participate in next year’s Eurovision Song Contest.
“A vote on participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will take place at an extraordinary meeting of the EBU’s General Assembly to be held online in early November,” an EBU spokesperson told Reuters on Friday, later clarifying that the vote is to determine if Israeli public broadcaster KAN will be allowed to participate.
