Government e-Marketplace (GeM) has launched a special campaign during Vigilance Awareness Week with the theme “GeM Ki Sunien, Satark Rahein, Zimmedar Banein,” aimed at strengthening transparency, integrity, and ethical practices in public procurement.
The campaign is designed to educate buyers on following best practices, complying with rules, and making use of GeM’s in-built safeguards, while also expanding opportunities for last-mile entrepreneurs, startups, and micro and small enterprises (MSEs), particularly from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.
GeM already offers features such as red-flag alerts, structured bid conditions, and transparent audit trails to ensure accountability and fairness in every transaction. As part of this drive, the platform has also begun outreach in local languages
