An NBN outage in the Goldfields Esperance region of Western Australia is preventing people from making Triple Zero calls.

Police put out an alert today advising about 700 customers in the state's south-east are still impacted by the NBN blackout.

The outage is impacting internet, some mobile services, and some landline access to emergency calls.

Police are urging residents in Bandy Creek, Chadwick, Castletown and West Beach - without mobile coverage to line up a back-up phone with neighbours or family, and to check on vulnerable people nearby.

Technicians should arrive this evening to try and resolve the issue.
