Mumbai: Actress Fatima Sana Shaikh has created a buzz by walking out of a big-banner film, which was to be directed by Madhur Bhandarkar.

“Fatima Sana Shaikh has walked out of the film that was set to be directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. The two made an appearance together at an award show earlier this year, where they planned to announce their association but it didn’t happen as was decided. The film is now shelved,” a source close to the untitled project was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times. ADVERTISEMENT

The reason for Fatima’s exit was not disclosed.

The filmmakers refused to comment on the development.

In April, reports suggested that Fatima was roped in to star in Bhandarkar’s upcoming film ‘The Wives’.
