Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a death at a nursing home in Sturgeon Falls.

The Nipissing West OPP, began a death investigation at a nursing home on Michaud Street, West Nipissing Thursday around 10 p.m.

An 85-year-old person from West Nipissing was found deceased by staff members.

This investigation is still ongoing and being conducted by the Nipissing West OPP Crime Unit, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service to determine the cause of death.
