It's the sign that greets you every time you decide to play Bethpage Black, one of the toughest courses you'll face: "WARNING: The Black Course is an extremely difficult course which we recommend only for highly skilled golfers."

It's not kidding. Bethpage Black is impossible, even for the best in the world. And it's that group that will face a tough test in the 2025 Ryder Cup. But the famed sign won't be up in its usual spot.

Why is that? It's because of the location of the first tee for the Ryder Cup. Per Ryder Cup director Bryan Karns to the New York Post: "If we had built that grandstand with the existing tee, it would almost go into the clubhouse. [The sign] would’ve been underneath the grandstands. It just wouldn’t have worked out.”

But the Ryder Cup did wink to it during the week:
