LYCOMING COUNTY, Pa. — A crash shut down part of Interstate 180 in Central Pennsylvania on Friday.

Officials tell Newswatch 16 that a tractor-trailer hauling 23 tons of stone struck the bridge that carries 8th Street Drive over the interstate in Delaware Township near Turbotville, spilling stone, vehicle debris, and wires across all four lanes.

No one was injured; however, all lanes of Interstate 180 between Interstate 80 and exit 6, PA Route 54, were shut down as a result. 8th Street Drive is also closed.

As of 7:45 p.m., I-180 east and westbound are now open.
