On Friday, Sept. 19, the Owen Sound District Wolves beat the upstart Kincardine Knights 26-6 at the Bruce County Rugby Club in Tiverton.

Then, in a rematch of last year’s championship game, the OSDSS Wolves and St. Mary’s Mustangs met at Victoria Park in Owen Sound on Wednesday, Sept. 24.

Perhaps in a sign of things to come this season, the two Owen Sound schools tied, 22-22.

The Mustangs are vying for an 11th-straight championship this year.
