MANDAN, N.D. (KLTV) - Carthage bareback rider Tilden Hooper won first place at the North Dakota Roughrider Cup in Mandan, North Dakota.
The 17th-ranked bareback rider in the world has earned $118,547 this season.
Hooper scored 90 points on a horse named “Ols Tubs Stevie” to win the round. The win earned him $18,119.
Mount Pleasant tie-down roper Kincade Henry also won some money in North Dakota. Henry ran a time of 8.4 seconds to finish in third place and win $7,840. This season, the 4th-ranked tie-down roper in the world has earned $150,374.
