ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Police are investigating after a deadly early morning shooting in St. Louis County.
According to a release by the St. Louis County Police Department, at around 2:05 a.m. Friday, officers were notified of a possible shooting after an activation of a ShotSpotter at the 10000 block of Duke Drive in north county.
Upon arriving, officers found a man who had been shot. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment, where he died.
Police say there is no suspect in custody at the time of this article’s publication.
This is an active investigation being handled by the St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons detectives.
