SRINAGAR : Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday announced the reopening of twelve tourist spots in Jammu and Kashmir after chairing a high-level Unified Headquarters (UHQ) meeting in Srinagar. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

In a post on X following the meeting, Sinha said the decision came after a “thorough security review and discussion.” He confirmed that seven sites in the Kashmir Division and five in the Jammu Division, which had been closed as precautionary measures, will reopen from September 29.

The tourist spots cleared for reopening in Kashmir include Aru Valley, Rafting Point Yanner, Akkad Park, Padshahi Park, and Kaman Post. In Jammu Division, Dagan Top in Ramban, Dhaggar in Kathua, and Shiv Cave in Salal, Reasi, will reopen to visitors.
