With just over six minutes remaining in the deadlocked game, the 17-year-old Slovak took a cross-ice pass from Jordan Charron as he stepped over the blueline. As if he was omnipotent, he knew what to do next.

“I’ve got the thought in my head that I’m going to shoot,” Zvolensky said. “I was aiming because we have a video on the goalie that it goes under the glove every time.”
