VINTON, La. (KPLC) - A Vinton man has been arrested after being accused of possessing child pornography, according to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office says its Special Victims Unit detectives, as part of the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, began investigating a tip from the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office on Sept. 19.

During their investigation, Livingston Parish detectives say they found that Erik G. Addison, 56, was in possession of child pornography.

Calcasieu Sheriff’s deputies investigated the tip and on Sept. 25, arrested Addison.

He has been booked into the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center for:
