The Metropolitan Police on Friday said that an Indian-origin woman and man have been charged with the murder of a 3-year-old girl nearly two years ago. Manpreet Jatana, 34 and Jaskiret Singh Uppal, 36, appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court following the charges. The case relates to the death of the toddler identified by police as Penelope Chandrie, news agency PTI reported.
