UConn is in talks with multiple Blue Blood schools about future non-conference games, head coach Dan Hurley told NJ Advance Media on Thursday.
The Huskies have spoken with Kentucky, Duke and North Carolina about various options, including one-offs, neutral-site games and home-and-homes.
“Moving forward, we’re in talks with some of the other bigger programs that aren’t on this year’s schedule,” said Hurley, who guided UConn to back-to-back NCAA championships in 2023 and ‘24.
“We’ve got expiring relationships with Texas and there’s opportunities for us. We want to be able to continue to get those bigger games, the Kentuckys, the North Carolinas, the Dukes. I think those teams playing UConn in the non-conference is great for college basketball.
