STRATHROY – A large crowd gathered in Strathroy on Saturday, Sept. 20, to celebrate the grand opening of Ricco Foods’ new Cash & Carry outlet.

The family-owned food distributor, which has served Southwestern Ontario for more than three decades, hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by local representatives, community groups and customers.

Mayor Sue Clarke of Adelaide Metcalfe praised the company’s longstanding contributions.

“Ricco foods distributors, as most of you know, they have been in the area since 1990 and I’d like to take this moment to thank the company for supporting events throughout the years and providing stable employment opportunities to this community,” she said.
