AARON Rodgers has made one request as the Pittsburgh Steelers arrive in Ireland.

The 41-year-old quarterback is set to face the Minnesota Vikings at Dublin 's Croke Park on Sunday.

Rodgers has admitted that there is one thing that he is excited to try as he arrives in the Emerald Isle.

"I'm a huge fan of Guinness ," Rodgers said. "I don't usually drink beer , but if I do, I drink Guinness . It's the truth.

"I've heard it tastes different off the tap in Ireland . I'm excited to see what it tastes like here."

Guinness originated in Dublin during the 18th century and remains a staple Irish export.

It is widely accepted that the stout tastes best in its native Ireland .

The drink differs from other beers as it contains nitrogen bubbles rather than carbon dioxide.
