BLOOMINGTON — Iowa football coach Kirk Ferentz chided himself for forgetting to mention Indiana football’s special team units.
Ferentz wrapped up a lengthy response about IU’s strengths during his weekly press conference Tuesday and turned for the next question ― only to interrupt the reporter with another thought.
“I forgot about special teams, right? First touchdown was a blocked punt,” Ferentz said. “Other than that, there's no problem.”
