CINCINNATI —
Police have given the all-clear after a false bomb threat was called in to Mercy Health – Anderson Hospital Friday morning.
According to officials, hospital staff called law enforcement after receiving an anonymous phone call reporting a bomb threat around 9 a.m. Advertisement
Upon arrival, K-9 crews searched both inside and outside the hospital with help from the onsite security team. Nothing was found at the scene, and the threat was deemed not credible.
"At Mercy Health, one of our most important responsibilities is the safety of our patients, visitors, associates, and physicians," a spokesperson for the hospital said.
