New Delhi, Sep 26: Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf has been fined 30 percent of his match fees for provocative gestures during the Asia Cup 2025 Super Four match against India on September 21, sources told PTI. The penalties follow complaints lodged by the BCCI with the International Cricket Council (ICC).

During the match, Rauf made a controversial ‘6-0’ gesture toward Indian fans and mimicked a plane falling, which prompted the ICC hearing presided over by match referee Richie Richardson. Sahibzada Farhan, who performed a ‘gunshot’ celebration, was let off with a warning after explaining it as a traditional celebration in his Pakhtun community and citing similar gestures by Virat Kohli.
