October is about to be a delight for fans of one of Canadian TV’s longest running shows, specifically those in the US. Murdoch Mysteries , based on Maureen Jennings ’ novels, has officially set a premiere date for its highly anticipated Season 19, courtesy of Ovation TV and which also features an exciting list of special guest stars. Set in Toronto in the early 1900s during the age of invention, the period drama follows Detective William Murdoch (Yannick Bisson) as he uses extensive forensic techniques to solve some of the city’s most frightful murders.
