Citizens and members of various Hindu nationalist organisations rallied against an alleged love Jihad case here on a call given by former BJP city chief Madan Joshi.The protesters demanded strict legal action against the accused, including the demolition of his house.

According to reports, about a week ago, a minor Hindu girl was allegedly lured away by a young woman from a particular community, who disguised her in a burqa and took her to the house of a teenage boy belonging to the same community. CCTV footage later exposed the incident, revealing that the boy allegedly sexually assaulted the minor and attempted to forcefully convert her.
