The voice of the Rochester Americans is calling it a career.

Broadcaster Don Stevens, play-by-play broadcaster for the Amerks for 40 years, is retiring from the booth following the 2025-26 season, the team announced on Friday.

Stevens, who joined the Amerks prior to the 1986-87 season, is the American Hockey League's longest-tenured broadcaster. He's called over 3,300 games with the team, including two Calder Cup championships and seven Calder Cup finals.
