Goaltender Connor Ingram, waived by Utah yesterday, cleared. He can now be assigned to the AHL. Significant to mention that he carries a $2m cap hit.

Some folks wanted Ingram in Edmonton. While that may or may not have merit on the ice, off the ice there were some barriers to overcome. We shall see if this leads anywhere further on the trade front, where a swap and retention could make some sense for someone.

No Edmonton Oilers went on waivers today. And the list of notable names that did is short, to say the least. More to come…
