LOGAN — With the colors turning in Logan Canyon, Dan and Lindsey Duffield are visiting the area from Texas, in part to see the vivid sights. The other piece of Lindsey Duffield’s motivations for coming to Utah however, has to do with the Bear 100 Endurance Race this weekend, that will take her from Logan to Fish Haven, Idaho.
“The whole hundred miles is completely inspired because I can’t wait to see what’s around the next turn, what’s over the next ridge,” Lindsey Duffield said.
“I grew up in the Midwest where we’ve got a lot of maples and stuff like that. So this is kind of a like coming back to home, seeing the colors.”
The Cache Valley Visitors Bureau is hopeful that like the Duffield’s, more people will look at the area as a fall destination . Director, Julie Hollist Terrill believ
