Kentucky Wildcats running back Jamarion Wilcox was arrested Friday and charged with sexual abuse in the first degree, according to the Fayette County Detention Center website. His bond is set at $5,000.

Wilcox's arrest comes after an alleged incident that occurred Aug. 20 in Lexington, when a woman accused him of sexual assault . The woman, whom The Courier Journal is not identifying, said in a petition for a temporary interpersonal protective order that Wilcox was visiting her roommate when he walked into her room while she was sleeping. The woman alleges that Wilcox got "into my bed, without my consent" naked and tried to "forcibly" open her legs.
