WESTGATE, Iowa — A student at Sumner-Fredericksburg School handed a bus driver a note on Wednesday morning, reading "Call 911," prompting a swift response from the Fayette County Sheriff's Office. Deputies arrived at a rural Westgate residence, where they discovered a woman was being held against her will.

The investigation revealed that Glenroy Stefand Miller, 29, of the Bahamas, had taken the victim's phone, preventing her from calling for help. Initially arrested for Domestic Abuse Assault and Obstructing an Emergency Communication, further inquiries uncovered that Miller had assaulted the woman throughout the night.
