LEWISVILLE, Texas — The city of Lewisville has issued a boil water notice Friday afternoon for a portion of the city due to a 12-inch line break.
This is the second time this year the city has had to issue a boil water notice due to a line break, the last time being in February.
The city is asking all customers in the affected area to boil their water prior to consumption, such as drinking, washing hands or brushing teeth.
Customers are also advised to buy bottled water or obtain water from another source for drinking and other purposes.
The affected area is shown on this map below along Clary Road and Thomas Lane.
