As a first-generation college student, Brandon Bailey had to navigate the world of education through much trial and error, which most students experience when they go to school and take their education into their own hands. From receiving guidance from family members to witnessing the different educational paths within his family, it showed him the importance of meeting students where they are and providing the resources and mentorship they need.
