Following heavy rainfall and rising inflows into Himayatsagar and Osmansagar, GHMC evacuated 55 residents from flood-prone areas near Shivaji Bridge and Bhoo Laxmi Temple. The evacuees were relocated to Gode-ki-Khabar Community Hall.

The GHMC officials evacuated 55 residents from flood-prone localities under Shivaji Bridge and near Bhoo Laxmi Temple following the lifting of gates at twin reservoirs, Himayatsagar and Osmansagar.
The evacuated residents, including families and daily wage earners, have been relocated to a safe place Gjode–ki–Khabar GHMC Community Hall, where they are being provided with temporary shelter, food, and medical support, a press release said.
Wit
