The Hawks Youth Athletic Association is more than a sports program.
For players, families and volunteers, it has become a cornerstone of community life, where lessons learned on the football field stretch far beyond Saturday mornings.
At its heart, HYAA is about teaching discipline, teamwork and leadership. Coaches and volunteers work to ensure every player has the opportunity to grow in confidence and character, no matter their skill level.
Practices and games are designed not only to sharpen football fundamentals but also to instill values like accountability, sportsmanship and respect.
“Our focus is to build young athletes into leaders,” said Coach Jake Stanley. “Football is the game, but the lessons go well beyond the field.”
