James (Jim) R. Hofmann, 87, of Attica, passed away peacefully, on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, at Premier Genesee Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Batavia. He was born March 21, 1938, in Batavia, to the late Ernest H. and Cora L. (Lewis) Hofmann.

He is preceded in death by wife, Margaret A. (Buckenmeyer) Hofmann; stepbrothers, Laverne Hofmann and William Reed, and stepsister, Frances (Reed) Folger.
