Sri Lanka’s opening batter Pathum Nissanka, who scored 107 runs from 58 balls against India on Friday, entered his name in the history books by becoming the highest run-getter in Asia Cup T20Is. The right-handed batter broke Virat Kohli’s record.

Kohli played 10 matches for India in the Asia Cup T20Is and scored 429 runs, whereas Nissanka now has 434 runs to his name in 12 matches.
