Special Olympics will be hosting the “New Jersey Turnpike 5” race on Sept. 27 starting at the Secaucus Junction.

The 5k race will be held at Exit 15X Helix in Secaucus. The race starts at 8 a.m. and check-in starts at 6 a.m.

While online registration is closed, racers can still sign up on-site for $50.

The New Jersey Turnpike Helix at 15X will shut down at 7 a.m. for the race. Drivers can still access the Turnpike through exit 16E at the County Avenue, or the Route 3 ramps, which will exit through the Paterson Plank Road ramp.

Those attending the race should enter at the Castle Road entrance with parking available at the Edison ParkFast Lot.

The check-in address is 650 Paul Amico Way in Secaucus.
