ROCKFORD, MI — Seven years ago, Wheeler Development Group dreamed of adding some “old-time charm” to downtown Rockford. Despite being derailed by COVID-19 and rising construction costs, the dream came true Friday.

Wheeler Development Group and AHC Hospitality on Friday, Sept. 26, joined state and local officials to celebrate the completion of Hotel Rose and Char + Barrel restaurant at 12 S. Main St. in downtown Rockford.
