BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Three Kentucky educators will be joining the Louis B. Nunn Kentucky Teacher Hall of Fame this year.

The late Lois Chandler, Julie Cowan, and Jennifer Fritsch are members of the 17th class.

Mrs. Lois Chandler, from La Center, was an educator for 56 years in various elementary schools, including Bandana, Concord, and Ballard Elementary. She passed away in 2020 at the age of 92.

Julie Cowan, from Columbia, is a current educator at Adair County Primary Center. During her 33-year long (and counting) career, she has also worked at Col. William Casey Elementary.

Jennifer Fritsch, from Bowling Green, is a current art teacher at Glasgow Middle School. This is her 23rd year teaching.

The formal 2025 Hall of Fame ceremony will happen on Friday, Nov.7, on Western Kentu
