Police in Tulare are investigating a shooting that left one person injured Thursday night.

Officers responded around 9:36 p.m. to several reports of shots fired near Walnut Avenue and Marion Street, Tulare police said.

While checking the area, they were informed of a gunshot victim near Bardsley and Spruce streets.

Police said the victim, who was somewhat uncooperative, was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition.
