EXCLUSIVE : There are layoffs today at NBCUniversal ‘s syndicated entertainment newsmagazine Access Hollywood , Deadline has learned. The exact number of impacted employees is unclear but it is believed to include 20+ year veterans who were told today is their last day, we hear.

The cuts are said to be related to E! News , the long-running celebrity news show on the Versant -bound NBCU cable network E!, coming to an end yesterday, Sept. 25.

E! News, Access Hollywood and offshoot Access Daily all have operated out of the Terrace Studios, adjacent to the Universal Studios lot, in Universal City, Calif.
