CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - New leads in a cold case nearly 50 years old could be on the way after 19 Investigates started asking questions about a young man found murdered in Brecksville back in 1976.
He was as young as 18 years old. All of these years later, he remains a John Doe.

Back in Freburary 1976, two surveyors were working on a property on a warm day just off I-77 in Brecksville, when they found mostly skeletal human remains in the woods just north of Miller Road.
Police found the young man had been shot and stabbed twice in the chest.
