Rakuten Viki is one of Asia’s top regional entertainment streaming platforms. The company clearly has ambition to grow in English-speaking markets as it mounts a “K-Drama Day” promotional campaign complete with ad spots featuring actors Will Poulter , Victoria Justice and Alicia Hannah-Kim.

Viki has designated this week through Sept. 30 as “K-Drama Day.” The streamer has a host of promotional activities and curated selections on its streaming platform in the hopes of encouraging pop culture fans to sample their shows. Viki offers a range of free and subscription streaming options and is widely distributed across Samsung, LG and other connected TV platforms.
