AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Nurture Home in Aiken is a transitional housing program for women suffering from mental illness.

They provide structured interventions to empower each woman to become self-sufficient.

They offer weekly support groups that enable residents to become empowered and confident in their choices and relationships, including parenting classes, health and nutrition classes and various volunteer activities.

Residents are also provided credit counseling and budgeting, and financial literacy education through Security Federal Bank.
