Emmy award winner Tamron Hall is in Cincinnati this weekend as the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center honors modern-day freedom heroes and fighters for equity.

Hall will host the award ceremony, with honorees including Lonnie G. Bunch III; Opal Lee; Toni Morrison; John E. Pepper, Jr.; and Isabel Wilkerson. For more information, click here .

On Friday, Hall joined WLWT to talk about her visit, the awards show and more. She is the host of one of the longest-running talk shows and continues to be one of television’s highest-rated daytime shows.
