The Detroit Red Wings continue their preseason on Friday night on the road against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The Red Wings gear up for a 2025-26 season that many hope will be an improvement after what was another frustrating campaign last year. The team returns most of its core, featuring Patrick Kane, Alex DeBrincat, and captain Dylan Larkin, along with some new faces. The most notable addition was that of goaltender John Gibson, who is expected to bring some stability between the pipes.
