ASHBURN, Va. — Week two of whether or not Jayden Daniels will play for the Washington Commanders began with some rather positive news, with the quarterback practicing in limited fashion for the second-straight session on Wednesday and taking the podium, a right normally reserved for the projected starter at the position.

Daniels was limited on Thursday and Friday as well, leading to further speculation about the Commanders quarterback’s status entering the weekend , with his ultimately being ruled out because the medical side hasn’t cleared him to return to the field just yet, head coach Dan Quinn shared on Friday afternoon.
