LEBANON, Tenn. (WKRN) — A gymnastics gym in Lebanon is hosting an open gym day for homeschool students.

This one-hour event is about providing another outlet to get the little ones up and moving.

A coach at Intrigue Gymnastics kick started the idea of having homeschool kids aged 5 and up use the gym.

Several years ago, Intrigue Gymnastics started an open gym program for preschoolers ages 15 months to 5 years old. The idea was to allow parents and kids to explore the gym without committing to weekly classes.

Since homeschooling is growing in Middle Tennessee, the coaches are looking to better serve the homeschool community. The gym could potentially add more classes for kids to play and hopefully meet new kids along the way.
