SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - We as humans love listening to music as it can influence our moods.

Well, animals also love listening to live music.

What started out as a little kid playing his keyboard to animals in the shelter in Houston has reached multiple states and now Sioux Falls.

The Sioux Falls Area Humane Society is always looking for volunteers, but now they are also looking for musicians to play music and help calm the animals.

This comes after the Humane Society partnered with Wild Tunes, which was started by Priyanka Agarwal’s 9-year-old son in 2023.

He noticed that when live music is played, the animals calmed down and listened.
