The first Beekeeper was one of 2024’s biggest surprise hits, combining Statham’s typical fare with a pun-filled furious fist session. Directed by David Ayer and written by Kurt Wimmer , the movie followed Adam Clay (Statham), a humble beekeeper whose quiet life masked his past as part of a shadowy organization known only as “The Beekeepers.” When his employer becomes the victim of a phishing scam, Clay unleashes a brutal campaign of retribution.
